12:38 AM, June whatever, 2008: Syntillations Party, Logica

[Disclaimer: Sorry if I said anything personal. I have Life is very short to restrain yourself from speaking out your mind. Forgive me for the sole reason, that I am a bit drunk. ]

{Background: My roommate Pavan is watching a Chinese movie in World Movies channel. and th I should tell you that it is an awesome channel. }

We had a party by Logic Syntillations, the fun club of Logica. The party was in HAL club Convention Hall, just 1.5 kms from my home and just 30 500m 800 l 800 m from Logica;

We (Pavan, Jithu, Deepak and I) reached already late, and the first thing to attract me was the a performance going my(by) a band named Wild Orchid, from Bangalore. These guys were just awesome w and they were...
{Nayana is calling..., Nayana is Tom's classmate and she has been a good friend through the phone from college. She works in Infy, Chennai. And we have never met. }
... playing the classics like Time - Pink Floyd, Smoke on the Water, Sweet Child O' Mine and some others. And I came and sat in the third row from the stage. Everyone was least interested, except some 3 year and 5 year old kids. They were trying to do what they can. And I saw the guys guys and ladies yawning while they were playing the Classics! What the **** ? I thought.

That was when I decided to teach the kids some head banging on the dance floor. I tried to teach the ac two five year old boys and a 3 year old cute girl [with decent head hair], how to head bang. And to my surprise (why?), they were got scared and ran away to their mothers from the area! :-)
And I noticed the girl's mom giving me the "Who is this jerk!" look.

When they finished their performance, I went and shaked shook hands with them (the band, not the kids. But the kids deserved appreciation.) for the enthusiasm spirit they had shown even when it was a ****** ** such an audience.

Later I went and personally met the band members; They were:
Vineesh [Vocals, he sangs Sweet Child O' Mine exactly like ______. Trivia: Once I read that the name Axl Rose was a jumble of the word "Oral Sex". You didn't know it right? Okay, leave it.] ,
Leo [ he looked like was dressed with a wore a normal white shirt with a Pink Red stripes, normal looking, but a vocal which perfectly suits for Rock n Roll. He sang Hotel California to his best. ]
Then there was Mark Rodriguez from Mysore [He looked like Kamal Hassan for in "the film he kills Gandhi" look from a distance.]

The When the DJ took over the stage, I left it and moved on to the Dinner area, I took my beer and ate enjoyed the Biriyanis.

I called my father who was just shifted to an o/p ro ro room from Surgical ICU, to say how much I drank and how much I am enjoying. He asked me:
"Did they serve Hot drinks?" [He means Whiskey, Brandy, Scotch.. you know.]
I told "No! Only premium beer."
And he just laughed.
Actually..., I should have been there with him in Kerala.

We stayed there till around 11.30, why ** All the cabs left and we had to walk home.
Jithu and I, [I always refer to Jithu, Now I should say something about him. He is my sub.junior and he just graduated. He is in Logica and now and he is an awesome guy to spend time with. With his usual confused look, spoonerisms , short term memory, his ability to compose any song in your mobile composer within 2 minutes, the way with which he looks at you standing at the front door for a minute and then confirming whether it is your own house or somebody else's (there had been instances), is all enough to tell that he is a great friend to stay with.]

I walked home with him through the street lights listening to Fix You ["The lights will guide you home..."] by Coldplay and Shine - by Collective Soul from his Sony Ericcson {Did you mean: Sony Ericsson} phone, in the needle thin rain, and the empty roads. It was nostalgic a different feeling.

We reached near our house, felt that the beer was not enough, bought a Fosters and 120 ml of Signature [from the worst bar you'll ever see]. We finished Fosters, but the other one is still smiling at me as I am writing through. :-)

Oh, I am writing this now for a long time by now. Time is 1:24 AM. Pavan slept, Vignesh slept, and Girish [who called me a buffoon,] he slept.]

I have already lost my voice shouting. And, My hands are shaking.
I should sleep now.
Take care.
